The Richard M. Hurst Visitors Center is located at the end of Second Street in the Village, at the foot of the Peebles Island bridge located directly across the Center. It is home to all of Waterford’s extremely popular maritime themed activities and events, and host to Waterford’s Farmers Market every Sunday morning in the warmer months.

Mid-May through mid-November, the Center welcomes boaters from throughout the nation and from foreign ports alike as they journey through the NY State Erie Canal System. Boaters docked at the facility enjoy amenities including: electrical service, showers, Wi-Fi and septic pump outs. Boaters are encouraged to visit Waterford’s nearby restaurants and businesses and have had a very positive financial impact on the business community. The Center is a great place for both boaters and residents to relax while enjoying all of the activities on the waterfront.
